The club was established in 1986, and until 2008 was known as Nanstallon Youth.  The club is run by volunteers and last year was awarded the Nations top honour "The Queens Award for Voluntary Services" for services to the community.

The youth football club received this accolade for offering opportunities for youngster from Bodmin and surrounding areas to train, play football and take part in activities within the club. Although we are a small club, approximately 65 children, we have a big heart, and the clubs committee members, managers and volunteers are all passionate about football and providing local children with effective training in a safe and friendly environment with FA qualified coaches.

The FA and Cornwall FA state “Every child or young person, (any person under the age of 18), who plays or participates in football should be able to take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse."   Simon Harland is the clubs Child Protection Officer, if you have any concerns please email him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. charter standard clubs logoThe club is run in-line with a FA Charter Standard Club. What this means is that all coaches have been CRB checked, are at least Level 1 qualified coaches, there is a Child Protection Officer in position.  The club has also joined the FA’s Respect Programme, promoting respect amongst players, managers, parents and officials.

In 2008/2009 the club competed in four different age groups in the East Cornwall Youth League and played host to 35 home games against teams from across the county. We also took part in various Tournaments throughout the summer. As well as encouraging children to take part in competitive football, we are also committed to those who just enjoy the game.

We are privileged to have a very proactive and supportive patron in Lady Molesworth St Aubyn, with our grounds situated within the Pencarrow House Estate, at Washaway, near Bodmin.  Our grounds are regarded as one of the best youth football grounds in the league.
